Ethics

A Taylored Space is a proud member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and subscribes to the Association’s Code of Ethics  which guides professional conduct with our clients, colleagues and the community.

Web Privacy

It is the policy of A Taylored Space to respect and protect the privacy of its customers, friends and other users of this Web Site.  When you fill out our web forms, you are providing us with personal information such as your name, address, telephone number and email address.  We use this information only for internal purposes related to your use of this Web Site.  We also use general demographic information about our users for internal marketing and planning purposes. We WILL NOT disclose any of your personal information to third parties unless you consent to such disclosure or the disclosure is required by law.  If you have questions about this privacy statement, you may contact us at atayloredspace@gmail.com. 

Confidentiality

A Taylored Space will not share details of a client’s situation, organizing challenges or personal information with anyone.  Any photos or statements made during your project will only be shared after receiving your written consent.

Cancellations

We understand that situations occur that may require a change in plans.  If you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you do so at least 48 hours before the appointment time.  Any appointments within 48 hours of the appointment will result in a charge equal to 1 hour’s fee.  We will make every reasonable effort to accommodation a client’s request to reschedule an appointment.

Product Research and Purchases

At times a project will require new products be purchased to meet your goals.  In these cases we will research and recommend products that meet your needs and price point.  All items will be presented to the client and agreed upon prior to purchase.

It is the responsibility of the client to pay for all products in full.

Travel

Travel expenses up to a 30- mile radius from Baton Rouge are included in our base fee.  Travel outside of that area will require a trip charge basis IRS mileage rate (currently $.50 per mile).

Payment

We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and work hard to provide the highest quality organizing experience.   We expect prompt payment for our services and require payment at the time service is rendered.  For projects with multiple sessions partial payment is due after each session.

A Taylored Space accepts payment of cash, check and credit card via PayPal.

We will charge 1.5 times our bank charge for any payment that is returned by our bank.

Thanks for recommending us to your family and friends.  Please ensure that your referrals mention you in their consultation.  Each client you refer that results in paid organizing projects will earn you 1 FREE HOUR on your next project.
