A Taylored Space subscribes to the Code of Ethics for both organizations.
NAPO Code of Ethics
This Code of Ethics is a set of principles to provide guidelines in our professional conduct with our clients, colleagues, and community. As a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, I pledge to exercise judgment, self-restraint, and conscience in my conduct in order to establish and maintain public confidence in the integrity of NAPO members and to preserve and encourage fair and equitable practices among all who are engaged in the profession of organizing.

IAC Code of Ethical Standards
Certified Organizer Coaches® are a specific, trained and skilled sub-group of both coaches and organizers who provide a service that is a distinct synergy of both fields. Certified Organizer Coaches® have demonstrated proficiency in the coaching skills and techniques in the Coach Approach for OrganizersTM Coaching Skills Model and BE-CAUSE Coaching Process Model. Certified Organizer Coaches® must sign an agreement to comply with the Code of Ethical Standards of the Institute for Applied Coaching™. Additionally, they are also held to the ethical standards of organizing and certifying institutions of which they may be members, i.e. NAPO, POC, AAPO, CPCO, ICD, ICF and PAAC. Violations of such Codes of Ethical Standards will be considered to be violations of the Ethical Standards of IACTM.

A Taylored Space will not share details of a client’s situation, organizing challenges or personal information with anyone. Any photos or statements made during your project will only be shared after receiving your explicit consent.
We understand that situations occur that may require a change in plans. If you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you do so at least 48 hours before the appointment time. Any appointments within 48 hours of the appointment will result in a charge of $150 plus travel fees due prior to any subsequent work. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate a client’s request to reschedule an appointment.
Product Research and Purchases
At times a project will require new products be purchased to meet your goals. In these cases we will research and recommend products that meet your needs and price point. All items will be presented to the client and agreed upon prior to purchase.
It is the responsibility of the client to pay for all products in full.
Travel expenses up to a 30- mile radius from Baton Rouge are included in our base fee. Travel outside of that area will require a trip charge basis IRS mileage rate (currently $.54 per mile).
We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and work hard to provide the highest quality organizing experience. We expect prompt payment for our services and require payment at the time service is rendered.
For projects quoted a lump sum price we require a deposit of 30% due by the first session. In all cases for projects with multiple sessions payment is due after each session.
A Taylored Space accepts payment of cash, check and credit card via PayPal and Square. Lump sum projects may be subject to up to 15% financing charge when processed electronically.
We will charge 1.5 times our bank charge for any payment that is returned by our bank.
